Seasonal Events
In the winter, Wishing Star Farm is open, weather dependent, for private parties with our campfire pits, petting zoo and hayrides. In the spring, we open for our Spring Fling to highlight our baby farm animals with field trips and private parties. Our summer focuses on travel petting zoos, farm parties and our short summer camps. In the Fall, Wishing Star Farm transforms into a lively pumpkin patch during its Fall Festival.
Year around we offer our animal encounters, where guests are able to help feed and groom the animals. Families can also enjoy private party areas with barrel train rides, a jumping pad, hay rides, a pallet maze, fire truck playground, and bounce houses. There’s also a Kid’s Town, a Toddler play area, sandboxes, yard games and various concessions available, ensuring everyone in the family finds something to enjoy.

Boo - The Camel
The Tulu camel, also known as the "Tulu hybrid camel," is an interesting and unique breed that has been developed through the crossbreeding of different camel species, typically the Bactrian (two-humped) and the Dromedary (one-humped) camels. Here are some fun facts about this fascinating hybrid:
Adaptable to Weather: Whether it’s super hot or freezing, the Tulu camel is ready for anything. It got the best of both worlds from its parents and can live in different climates.

Milk Machine: Did you know that camels give milk? Tulu camels are great at this, and their milk is very important for the people who live with them. Camel milk is even used to make things like cheese and yogurt!
